I just rescued this butterfly. She was lying on her back on the sidewalk, I thought she was dead. I noticed her antennae was still moving. I nudged her with my finger and moved her over trying to see if it would help her get up and fly. The wind just kept flipping her over and over and she wouldn’t get on my finger, so I slid the receipt from my pocket under her and she clung to it. Now we are back at my studio, where she can at least be in peace. #butterfly #dying #everydaylife #beauty (at falcon 5, a contained artspace)
